Exploring Judaism
Judaism is not a faith you passively inherit—it is a conversation across generations, a discipline of study and argument, and a commitment to living with purpose. Whether you are considering conversion, navigating an interfaith relationship, seeking to reconnect with your heritage, or simply curious about what it means to live a Jewish life, I welcome you.
This is not a sales pitch. Judaism does not proselytize, and I will never pressure you toward a decision that is not authentically yours. What I offer instead is an open door: to learn, to question, to wrestle with ideas, and to discover whether this ancient tradition speaks to your soul.

What Does It Mean to Explore Judaism?
For some, exploring Judaism means formal conversion—a profound and transformative journey that requires study, commitment, and a willingness to embrace Jewish peoplehood. For others, it means learning enough to support a Jewish partner, to raise Jewish children, or simply to understand the history and values that have shaped this enduring people.
Whatever brings you here, the path is yours to walk. I am here to guide, teach, and support you—not to impose a timeline or outcome.
If You’re Considering Conversion
Conversion to Judaism is not a quick process, nor should it be. It is a commitment to study Torah, observe mitzvot, and join the Jewish people in both joy and responsibility. It requires intellectual rigor, spiritual openness, and often, courage—especially in a time when being visibly Jewish can invite hostility.
We will study together. We will talk about theology, history, ethics, and practice. You will be expected to engage with Jewish life—attending services, observing Shabbat and holidays, and connecting with the Jewish community. And when the time is right, you will stand before a beit din (rabbinic court) and immerse in a mikvah (ritual bath), marking your entry into the covenant.
This is not a solitary journey. You will be welcomed, challenged, and supported every step of the way.
If You’re in an Interfaith Relationship
Love does not always follow neat religious boundaries, and I have worked with many couples navigating the beautiful complexity of interfaith life. Whether you are a non-Jewish partner seeking to understand your spouse’s tradition, or a Jewish partner hoping to create a Jewish home, I am here to help.
Judaism values the integrity of a unified home. While some couples find strength in maintaining two religious traditions, others choose to raise their children in one faith. There is no single right answer, but there is wisdom in clarity and intentionality. We can explore what a Jewish home looks like, what commitments are required, and how to honor both your love and your values.
If You’re Reconnecting with Your Roots
Many Jews find themselves returning to Judaism after years away—sometimes because of a life transition, sometimes because of a search for meaning, sometimes because the world has reminded them, painfully, that being Jewish still matters. If that is you, welcome back. There is no judgment here, only an open door.

Let’s Begin
Judaism is not a religion of easy answers. It is a tradition that demands intellectual honesty, moral courage, and a willingness to sit with uncertainty. It asks you to study, to question, to argue—and ultimately, to commit.
If that sounds like a path worth walking, I would be honored to walk it with you.
